Zombie kittens, two-headed dogs and other lab-spawned monstrosities, London-based designer, Katie Eary creates a mix: Frankenstein meets Alice in Wonderland.

For her Autumn/Winter 2011 collection, Eary invited the audience on a journey depicting a twisted "American Dream" and 1950s high school society, where varisty boys and pretty girls have their dark secrets. Eary casted each model with a depiction of classic horror film antics.

Her combination of bright colors and and vibrant latex, varsity jackets fused with biker jackets, chiffon, mohair knits with ostrich feathers and of course, Eary's signature gold studs. Colors have always made the designer stand out among other designers and her aggressiveness of being wild just adds more to her individuality and charismatic personality.

Eary added NIKE Air Force Ones to the menswear and inserts of carved wood. Girls had a similar story with carved wood but was seen in a form of a wedge.

There should be more designers like Eary, that design with no fear of judgement and get carried away with a fantasy world.
